Role overview

Hexa is redefining how modern sales teams work — with AI summaries, conversation insights, and clean, human-first UI. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who’s obsessed with performance, detail, and clarity. You’ll lead front

How You’ll Drive Impact

  • Build and maintain highly interactive UI with Framer and React

  • Translate product + design specs into polished, responsive components

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and AI/Infra engineering

  • Help evolve our component system and animation logic

  • Contribute to engineering decisions across accessibility and DX

  • Advocate for thoughtful performance and UX tradeoffs

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years building production web apps

  • Strong React + CSS architecture skills

  • Experience with Framer, Tailwind, or similar component frameworks

  • Familiarity with design systems and animations/transitions

  • Excellent communication in async, remote environments

  • Comfortable working with AI-integrated UIs (or excited to learn)

Bonus Points For…

  • Familiarity with conversational UI or chat-like interfaces

  • Experience working in early-stage product teams

  • Exposure to accessibility-first frontend practices (a11y)

  • Understanding of performance budgets, Lighthouse, etc.

    • We read every application carefully. We're looking for alignment with the role, clarity in communication, and thoughtful signals — not just a fancy resume.

  2. Intro Call (30 mins)

    • A casual conversation with a team lead or founder. We’ll discuss your background, what excites you, and your expectations. No prep required.

  3. Technical / Design Task (Optional by role)

    • If relevant, we’ll share a short async task (2–3 hrs max) that reflects the actual work. No whiteboarding, no trick questions. For design roles, we might ask for a small UI improvement or UX suggestion.

  4. Deep Dive Interview (60–75 mins)

    • We’ll go in-depth on how you think, communicate, and work. This may involve live problem-solving, talking through past work, or collaborative critique — always with clear guidance.

  5. Culture & Alignment Chat

    • A brief conversation with someone outside the immediate team. We focus on values, async fit, communication style, and expectations from both sides.

  6. Offer or Feedback

    • We move fast. You'll receive either a detailed offer or clear feedback — usually within 48–72 hours of your last interview.

Freelance / Short-Term Roles

For part-time, freelance, or contractor positions:

  1. Application or Referral

    • We often source these roles directly, but you’re welcome to apply proactively.

  2. Quick Scope Call (20–30 mins)

    • We define scope, timeline, rate expectations, and mutual fit.

  3. Trial Task or Paid Pilot

    • For some freelance roles, we may offer a small paid task or initial pilot before full engagement.

  4. Agreement & Start
